Few mobile applications deployed by enterprises today are self‐contained tools that function in isolation on workers’ devices. Most of them are in one way or another integrated into back‐end systems to exchange information. The challenge, however, is that there is no single protocol or standard for these connections. Integration approaches vary between systems and mobile solutions, and are often unique to the company’s IT environment and functional requirements.

Syclo features full support for multiple enterprise systems. This capability is critical to any organization that selects a mobile platform to mobilize multiple user groups that utilize disparate back‐end systems. For example, an organization can use one system (e.g. SAP) for SLA compliance and field service, a different system (e.g. Remedy) for IT asset management and yet another back‐end system (such as Maximo) for maintenance of its plant. With Syclo's Agentry mobile platform, the customer can implement all of these solutions on a single platform and avoid selecting, learning and supporting multiple solutions from different vendors. In addition, Agentry‐based applications can communicate with several enterprise systems simultaneously, presenting a higher level of functionality than multiple point solutions.
